I have completed my first year as a student at Fall Creek Abbey School Of Spiritual Direction
The first class we had to define what spiritual direction was. The following was the result of the breakout room we had together.
Spiritual Direction is a form of Christian soul care that has its roots in the tradition of the early Church. It’s a process of prayerful listening to the Holy Spirit with the purpose of deepening your relationship with God. It provides a sacred space for conversations about life’s experiences to help you recognize and be aware of God’s presence in the midst of your life.
I will be entering my second year of study starting in October 2021.
